Tezmaksan Has Commenced The Mass Production Of CubeBOX In Its New Factory.

Tezmaksan, a metal manufacturing industry company, has announced the initiation of mass production for the CubeBOX in its new factory in Sivas, with an investment of 15 million euros and a construction cost of 37.5 million Turkish Liras, expected to be completed in the coming months. The factory, designed to align with the dark factory concept under the Industry 4.0 framework, will also commence CNC production from the second quarter of 2024. Tezmaksan has started the production of the robotic automation system, the CubeBOX series, in the Sivas factory, with the initial fixed investment amounting to 185.6 million Turkish Liras as of October.

Designed in accordance with the European Green Deal and environmental sustainability principles, the factory will be LEED certified. Tezmaksan, through the Tezmaksan Academy implemented in the factory, addresses the technical education needs of employees and future students entering the industry. The company will position its Istanbul factory as a Research and Development (R&D) center.

Providing insights into the factory, Tezmaksan General Manager Hakan Aydoğdu stated, "After completing the first phase of our construction, a 10,000 square meter section, we started manufacturing under mass production conditions in October. The construction of the second phase, an 18,000 square meter enclosed area, is still ongoing. Currently, we are waiting for the delivery of our bridge-type CNC machine, for which we placed an order, and is expected to arrive this month. We have designed and implemented our production system in the factory to align with the dark factory concept under the Industry 4.0 framework."

Aydoğdu also highlighted that the Sivas factory would increase Tezmaksan's capacity by 300%, stating, "We will also start CNC production in the second quarter of 2024."
